EVERY DOG RESIDING IN THE STATE OF MAINE FOR LONGER THAN 10 DAYS MUST BE LICENSED IN THE MUNICIPALITY IN WHICH THE DOG RESIDES.

To license a dog at the Town Office please bring the following documentation:
​
~ Proof of rabies vaccination including
    rabies tag number and expiration date
~ For first time or recently altered dogs,
    documentation showing that the dog has
    been spayed or neutered
~ Cash or check for the appropriate fees-
        $6- spayed/neutered dog
        $11- unaltered dog
        $25- late fee if dog was not licensed by
                 January 31 and is not a new dog.

You May Re-License Your Dog By Mail

Sometimes it is just not convenient to visit the Town Office.

Please send a self addressed stamped envelope, appropriate documentation and fees as described above and a current contact number for any questions that might arise.
